“Let the Children Come”

And so they did, all in their red T-shirts and blue jeans. It was on the 13th of January 2010, the first day of Holy Cross School at the monastery.

They were introduced to strange people in a strange place. We stood there looking at the newcomers, well dressed in our habits. The children may not know what they really hunger for. They probably don't know what is going to happen to them. They don't know that soon they will have knowledge beyond their wildest dreams.

They came in that cold, rainy and foggy weather, some with their mothers. One of them was weeping when her mother left her, and their new teacher Ntombekaya warmly welcomed them. Please pray for the little ones as they start their school days with us.
