A Visit From A Brother

We were blessed to have another brother from our Order visiting with us from Holy Cross Priory in Toronto, Canada. Br. James Randall Greve is, however, no stranger to South Africa nor to our monastery here, since he spent a period of his formation in the Order with us, about five years ago. Brother Randall was using this time with us as a brief respite before he goes back to begin his second year of studies in seminary at Wycliffe College in Toronto and his work in the youth ministry in the Diocese of Toronto, Canada. It was good to share our life with him again as well as to show him what's new in our community life and in South Africa. He brought with him his photographic talents as well as eclectic taste in music and he shared both with the community.

He will be studying for two more years at Wycliffe and, hopefully, will graduate and be ordained as Deacon in 2013. We look forward to that day, and we offer him our best wishes and prayers as he continues to pursue his studies and his further growth in the Order of the Holy Cross. It is always a delight to have other brothers from the Order come and share our life here in this part of the world.
